Exercise your faith by visiting Orphans.

Your opportunity to love orphans has come.
If you miss it –will you not regret it?


Date;    13 March 2010

Where;  Saal str- block house- play ground

Time;    between 10am and 2pm

 


We would like to spoil them with braai vleis, games, sweets and tons of fun.
Any contributions, ideas and just being there to love and appreciate them will be wonderful. There will be 33 orphan children, with about 5 volunteers.
Ages – 3 and 18years.

The frame work of the day;

  • Become a child and come love, touch and play with them.
  • Adriaan will braai some wors for lunch. Any volunteer to help him, welcome.
  • Wonderful Wendy and her famous  wacky puppet will be making an appearance.
  • James and Vanessa with the youth will make sure that the Bafana team of the future will have a work-out.
  • When the sun is high and the children played out- maybe a short dvd before they leave.           
  • Patric will look through the lens of the camera, we are thinking of blessing  them with photos of themselves.
  • Any other ideas are welcome, like jumping castle, tug of war, BE FREE.

                                                                                                                                                                                          

Expences include;

 

o       Transport – taxis from Hammanskraal to here.
o       Food – rolls, wors, paper plates, servettes, tomato sauce. If you and your family wants to eat with then please bring your own meat.
o       Cooldrinks – we will make Oros in the big containers. For all of us. Ice is also needed.
o       Party packs – a idea is to make party packs for them to take home – maybe our children can bless them by handing it out to them. We also need sweets to put in packets.
o       Popcorn – someone who can make popcorn with the popcorn machine – for all of us. I got a few packets of popcorn.
o       It will be nice to have a big cake- don’t know who will be so brave.
o       Fruit is always a winner-like 3 watermelons.
o       Any other ideas are welcome.
