Dear 3CI
We would just like to thank you and exhort you for the amazing way in which you have expressed God’s love. I said at Caleb’s Thanksgiving Service that I knew each one present would experience God’s love – I have received so many testimonies from people who came about how they felt God’s love, people who came to minister – were ministered too and how awed they have been by how you the body of Christ (the church) have just surrounded us and supported us in genuine love.
You have been “Christ’s warm embrace”, you have showed us “His tears” and through you we have heard “His comforting voice” – you have revealed to us and many others, the body of Christ.
Thank you to each one of you for what you have done in this time – mostly for all your prayers – it is times like this when you feel carried by the prayers of others, for the scriptures and words of encouragement, for the meals, the flowers, the hugs and the tears – we know you share our grief and it is a great encouragement.
May Caleb’s death enlarged our view of God and make us all grow in Christ.
