    Testimony about Gods love!

    I want to testify of God's all-encompassing love. I was reading 1Thes, and it just struck me how Paul is relentless in his zeal and passion for what he has. Seeing what lies before him, he cannot contain his joy, and every single time he writes (anywhere in the new Testament), there is an urgency as he beseeches people to spend their lives on what is worthy; to be founded in Christ.

    I've increasingly been feeling that God is calling us to the same. However, it starts with seeking and seeing His face. This morning, all of a sudden, I was brought to tears, singing the song, "I want to know You," over and over again (rather difficult when you're crying), as the Holy Spirit just stirred in me.

    I have been feeling very strongly of late that we should not be a people of creature comforts. That God is calling us to more, and although most of us lead fairly comfortable lives, we should not hold on to that. Our God is beyond definitions, or description. He defies our human logic. Every single good thing we know is because we know Him; we can't bind Him to the extent of our knowledge.

    God is really calling us to run hard after Him; to be a people who break the mould and defy convention, not for the sake of doing these things, but because God alone is worthy of living for.
