    MATHEMATICALLY POSSIBLE BUT MOST IMPROBABLE

It's taken me this long to get over the defeat to Uraguay & France then went on to do us no favours by losing 2-0 to Mexico.

Instead of harping on about how the Uraguayan striker was off-side (clearly) when he was gently nudged on the ankle & took a beautiful swallow dive for a penalty & a red card to Khune that should never have been if the off-side had been given, let me rather give you the permeatations of what now in Group A.

Bafana need to beat France convincingly by 3 goals or more & then Uraguay must beat mexico by 3 goals or more or Mexico must win by 4 goals or more. If Bafana beat France by 4 goals then Uraguay must win by 2 goals or Mexico must win by 3 goals to put us tie second on points but with a superior goal difference which will put us through to the next round. If Mexico & Uruguay draw as most good neighbouring countries might, then they will both go through to the next round but the second place finisher in the Group will have to play Argentina in the next round so they might just play for a win as not to meet Argentina.

France have been rocked by in-fighting in the camp & the Team & it's a known fact that there is no love lost between many of the players & the coach. A house divided against itself cannot stand it seems, so we do have a good chance against a highly demoralised French Team,  but 4 goals - I don't think so. So tomorrow is the day we get the opportunity to wear our green & yellow & support our Bafana Bafana through thick & thin & even if we don't qualify for the next round, let's finish well & host the rest of the tournament like the champion nation that we are.
