NO Isaiah Tonight Thu 6:30pm
Isaiah has been cancelled tonight due to an unforeseen funeral. We apologise for the late notice. Thankyou for understanding. Heinz

I’ve had the privilege of being part of a very special little boy’s life for the past 3 years.
We were in the same homegroup at the time his parents heard that there was an abnormality with their baby, and that they should consider an abortion. If they weren’t saved that probably would have been an option, but we know a God of miracles! And who is to say human standards of “normal” are right anyway? Yet the prognosis for this little boy’s future was bleak. So many obstacles he would have to overcome... So many things he might never be able to do... The question did arise: Why did God allow this to happen?
Why? I’m not sure, but I think every one of his brothers as well as his mom and dad’s lives are changed forever. Their perception of God’s greatness has increased tremendously. Sure, their lives took on another dimension, but God’s grace IS sufficient.
He did take longer than other babies to sit, but he sat. He leopard crawled, then spider crawled and then did the usual crawl. Oh, we looked at his legs and small feet and thought: How will they ever carry his weight? But in time, this little boy is now walking too. He has shown that there’s nothing wrong with his intelligence and reasoning and can be quite strong-willed, just like any other three-year-old.
Then, at the beginning of this year there was another diagnosis: “Apraxia”. He would be unable to make the sounds he wants to make, and would suffer a severe speech defect. But again the God of miracles came and touched this little guy’s life. He can now say a couple of words clearly!
When he smiles, I catch a glimpse of heaven. Whenever I become doubtful or discouraged, I just look into those blue eyes and I know the phrase ‘heaven must be missing an angel’ is true: I’ve met one, and his name is Jason Brook.
