About 3CI
What is 3Ci about? 3Ci is about God. We want God for God Himself.
This makes us as a church believe in believing right and in doing right. Our doctrinal belief can best be described as Triune God-besotted, yet Christ-centered in our gospel preaching, because Jesus is man’s only access into the Trinity.
We hold to a reformed-charismatic view and choose to uphold all restored truth, even though it forces us to walk with divine tensions. We want to assume neither the gospel nor the Holy Spirit’s work. We desire to truly honour both God’s word and His Spirit.
We are missional, “more interested in the harvest than the barn”, in that we want to cross barriers from church to non-church, faith to non-faith and see people reconciled and restored to God, themselves, others and the world, through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (Van Engen).
We are Kingdom-focused, believing that the church holds the keys to the Kingdom. This is why we gather men and women into the church with a view to the transformation of the world as a sign of the coming Kingdom of Jesus.
Our philosophy of ministry can be described as postmodern conservative since we want to engage our time with the ancient ever-truth of scripture.
Our personality as a church in Pretoria is, or at least aims to be, loved and loving, lavishly creative, wildly generous, daringly innovative and pioneering, caringly concerned, delighted and urgent, loud and joyful, livers of Kingdom life!
We value God as builder, Jesus as chief shepherd and our chief work being prayer.

It’s easy!
Step 1: DISCOVERY COURSE
This is where we dream and dialogue, envision and enlighten, question and critique. Feel free to ask any question that’s on your heart. You can be assured that the elders and deacons will do their best to answer it, as we equip newcomers with a better understanding of our theology and calling as 3Ci.
When & how: Email with your name and contact numbers, and we'll get back to you with more information.
What goes down: We’ll discuss some critical and hot doctrinal topics, such as the offence of the Son (the cross), the Father (His sovereignty), and of the Holy Spirit (totally surrendering our lives to Him). The Discovery Course runs once a week for three weeks.
Why: You will get to meet some of the leaders, and hopefully leave with questions answered and any doubts resolved:) We believe the Bible holds the only key to truth, but we recognise that it's not a popular message. We'd rather offend you now than later…
Step 2: LIFE GROUPS
There’s life in church. At 3Ci, our Life Groups are an essential part of this. Bonds are formed for life; eat with others, laugh, pray, share and see your life transformed by fellowship with the saints. Click on the Life Groups link on our homepage to view a list of Life Groups.
When: Every Tuesday, except the first Tuesday of each month.
Step 3: WELCOMING IN
Let you Life Group leader know that you've chosen to become a member of 3Ci, and he or she will make the necessary arrangements for you to be welcomed in at our next Welcoming In church service!

During the week
Church is definitely not confined to Sundays! Worship is a lifestyle, and we love to carry that culture in everything we do.
Life Groups
We get together in each other's homes all over the city on a Tuesday evening to have fun, build friendships and encourage one another in the Word and prayer.

Prayer
We believe in a culture of prayer at 3Ci and meet together in the Block House every Tuesday morning from 6am-7am to pray (with the exception of the first Tuesday of each month, which is when we usually have our corporate prayer meeting). Anyone is welcome to come and join us in prayer! We focus our prayer outward and exercise our prayer muscle for the lost, the church and many other relevant topics in our generation. There are other venues too for Tuesday morning prayer, in addition to other prayer groups held during the week. Please click here for more details.
Youth
Between the ages of 13 - 18? Then meet the youth of 3Ci!
3Ci youth meet together every Friday night in the Block House for an evening of fun and friendship. its such a vibe! But you'll have to check it out for yourself...
